Production mode

I have been busily sewing bags for the past 2 days. We have 3 craft shows/farmers markets coming up in the first part of May and I am trying to get our stock built up as much as I can to be ready. This has been my view except for the times I am cooking or sleeping.

One of my favorite things is making the handles. I love how the edges feel after the 2 strips of fabric are sewn together. It's the little things...

Can you tell that I am working on the gingham bottom bags right now?

A stack of "Essential Bags"

My least favorite part? See those 2 white corners in the picture? Those are bags that I am pretending are already turned right side out..I hate turning the bags right side out. But love it when I have a cute, tidy stack of bags.

INTRODUCING................

Another Green Bottom Bag Design!

This past weekend I made the big trip down to see Tami and work on bags.

We completed the "Out to Lunch" bag design that we have been wanting to do from the beginning. Its the same basic design as our "Classic Market Bag" but we added a couple of different details, including the ever so cute yo-yo and button from our grandma's stash on some of the bags.

We also working on our "Necessities Bag". A smaller version of the "Classic Market Bag' that is perfect for that quick run to the grocery store to pick up those few things that you find yourself needing. Look for those bags to be on our ETSY shop in the near future (link to our Etsy shop located on the margin along with a few current listings)

Keep checking our shop!! We are working on a couple more designs that we are hoping to introduce in the next couple weeks!

Party time!

Hey check out the link to join a bloggin' great party! Great way to check out new blogs and meet new people.
For the new visitors here, this blog is my sisters (tami) and my (tanya) blog for our new business. We are hoping that in a year we will look back at this and remember the hours that we are putting in with a smile.
We both live in Colorado, but at opposite ends of the state, so this blog is a long distance tie between the two of us.

Party on people, I am off to look at others blogs!!!

Our first shipment.

Our first bag (white mums--one of my personal favorites gets ready for shipment.
Even though I knew that these were going to be sold, I have a little twinge of sadness letting them go.
We want people to open up a box from us and feel like they received a gift...and who doesn't love "brown paper packages tied up with string"?
It is very exciting..better get back to making bags :)

bottom turned out very cute.
